Humor and Airports

As I returned from a job in Las Vegas I noticed something really cool: their airport administrators have a sense of humor. Like so many other airports, Las Vegas has video monitors instructing folks about how to get through security.

But Las Vegas took the time (and effort) to get some of their famous entertainers, comedians, and even magician Lance Burton to be part of the the video.

Here’s a photo of some clowns taking their shoes off (and instructing the rest of us to do the same.)

And here is another photo of one of Las Vegas’ comedians Carrot Top struggling with a bag that was too large.

Cool. Think a sense of humor helps? I do. I’ve NEVER watched those instructional videos at any airport. But in Las Vegas I was one of a crowd that wanted to see them all.
